Learning Support Assistant or Higher Level Teacher Assistant Needed - Southend on Sea, Essex
Strategy Education are recruiting for a learning support assistant to work in a reception classroom of a primary school in the Southend-on-Sea area of Essex.
The successful learning support assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEN
The Learning Support Assistant or Higher Level Teacher Assistant opportunity is full time (5 days per week – 8.30am to 3.30pm)
The role will originally be from 8th September until 19th December, with the possibility of this becoming a longer term to permanent role after Christmas. The school is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated, has parking on site and has good transport links. It is a nurturing, inclusive environment. This role will pay £80-£105 per day.
The Learning Support Assistant or Higher Level Teacher Assistant needed for this role will need to be as follows:
* Experienced working with children aged 4-11 years old
* Able to support children with Autism, ADHD, and who are non-verbal.
* Good at building rapport with children in a school setting
* Successful behaviour of learning managers
* Flexible and adaptable, able to think on your feet
* Passionate about education and the welfare of children
