Overview

Job Title: Customer Services Adviser
Location: Old Hall Street, Wolverhampton
Contract Details: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Working time: Monday 8.30am - 1pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities

* Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and in-person.
* Provide outstanding customer service and ensure all enquiries are processed in a timely manner.
* Assist with enrolment processes and provide clear information about courses and services.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions in the MIS system.
* Greet and assist visitors in accordance with ID policies.
* Handle student ID badges, travel cards, and examination certificates.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and support general administration duties.
* Demonstrate discretion and sensitivity in all interactions.


Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)

* Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
* Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in data entry and administration tasks.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.


Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)

* Experience in a customer service role, preferably in an educational setting.
* Familiarity with enrolment processes.
* Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures in public sector organisations.


Technologies

* Experience with Management Information Systems (MIS) is advantageous.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
