About the Role
Xcede is partnering with an innovative insurance organization based in Cambridgeshire to hire an entry-level Data Scientist. This permanent position offers a fully hands‑on opportunity to combine Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics techniques while working on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science fundamentals.
Responsibilities
* Combine Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics techniques.
* Work on a variety of projects within the insurance sector.
* Translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
* Degree in a STEM subject (ideally).
* Experience utilizing Machine Learning approaches to solve business problems or university projects.
* Good understanding of SQL and Python.
* Strong understanding of Machine Learning models.
* Excellent statistical approach to problem‑solving.
* Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills.
