Speech and Language Therapist – Hilden Park School (2 days per week)
Salary: £39,483 - £47,549 (including paid school holidays) + excellent benefits.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a multi‑disciplinary team at Hilden Park School, an independent specialist day school in West Kent. The role involves supporting educational and residential colleagues in providing therapeutic living and learning environments, delivering individualized interventions, and engaging with young people who have complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
Responsibilities
* Provide therapeutic delivery to young people with diverse complex needs, based on clinical assessment and formulation.
* Support educational and residential colleagues to create clinically‑informed living and learning environments.
* Deliver individualized interventions and facilitate engagement for students.
* Offer supervision, training, and clinical development to colleagues.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to team meetings.
* Participate in regular reviews and outcome monitoring.
Qualifications
* Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
* Experience with children and young people having complex needs and be able to deliver therapeutic interventions.
* Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams to develop clinically informed learning environments.
* Strong interpersonal skills, confident, engaging, and effective as a leader and trainer.
* Excellent organisational skills and initiative.
