It’s an exciting time to join AXA Commercial as a Property Claims Handler. Working as a Property Claims Handler, you’ll enhance your career by being part of our ever evolving Commercial Claims department.
Our Commercial Claims department is accountable for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property, Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Managing your own portfolio of claims offering coaching and development to colleagues where applicable.
2. Using your initiative as well as information resources available to provide the best outcome for the customer.
3. Answering calls adhering to standard response times whilst ensuring accurate and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer.
4. Utilising strong attention to detail, remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help customers when they need us the most.
Your Profile
What we’re looking for:
5. Proven experience in a Commercial Property Claims is essential.
6. Experience in GIT/PA/CAR/Subsidence is advantageous but not essential.
7. You’ll have proactive management of own caseload and a commitment to customer service.
8. Ability to make accurate and pragmatic policy and legal liability decisions.
9. Developed quantum assessment and negotiation skills.
10. Detailed end to end knowledge of commercial property claims process.
11. Ideally progressing towards Cert CII.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
