The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Operational Assets Equipment Maintenance Team. We are an innovative, challenging, and high performing fire and rescue service where you can make a real difference to public services through the provision and management of physical assets.
At Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service we operate and manage a large number of fleet, equipment, PPE and workwear assets to enable the effective and efficient delivery of varied services to the communities of Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping our fire and rescue specialist equipment operating at its best. You'll carry out compliant servicing, maintenance and care of a wide range of critical assets, completing scheduled work while confidently tackling unscheduled defects and urgent events as they arise. During these on call periods, you may be deployed to various incident types, including supporting busy fire grounds, ensuring crews have safe, reliable equipment exactly when they need it.
Maintenance activity will include:
