New Full-Time Cleaner opportunities in Dagenham!
We have 3 new opportunities for friendly, reliable and conscientious people to join our professional cleaning team on an initial fixed term basis.
You will be responsible for delivering a top-notch, client focussed, professional cleaning service to a designated site.
Using your knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH (‘control of substances hazardous to health’), you will safely and effectively handle cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure daily and periodical cleaning schedules are completed. You may occasionally or deliver deep-clean or specialised responsive cleaning services.
Duties
* Dusting, wiping, and sanitising hard surfaces (desks, tables, etc.) and other high-touch areas.
* Cleaning internal windows and windowsills.
* Use appropriate techniques to effectively clean a range of multi-use areas within the site including communal areas, meeting areas, kitchen areas, washrooms, toilets, basins, and bathroom areas
* Using commercial cleaning equipment to routinely clean various types of floors.
* Performing deep cleans.
* Effectively store and maintain cleaning items and equipment.
* Cleaning stock management and refreshing supplies.
* other ad-hoc internal and external cleaning duties such as emptying waste, litter picking.
Qualifications & Experience
* Health and Safety Level 2 qualification and a good understanding of COSHH and cross contamination in a cleaning context.
* Great attention to detail - noticing the small details that make a difference!
* Client care: You will have a friendly manner and willingness to learn, work hard and deliver a great service.
* You will use your initiative to be able to solve routine issues if/when they arise and ensure you always adopt safe working practices.
* Great team working and communication skills - but equally able to work independently to complete tasks
* A good grasp of the English language is essential as you will be required to understand and follow written instructions on cleaning equipment and chemicals.
* Previous experience in a professional cleaning services environment is beneficial.
Working Arrangements
* Full-time, 8 hours per day with an hour for lunch.
* Fixed term – initial term to perm.
* Three different shifts available, these are:
o 6 am - 2 pm
o 9 am - 5 pm
o 2 pm - 10 pm
* Location: Designated sites in Dagenham (near Dagenham East Station).
