EKC Group are seeking a Specialist Tutor Dyslexia to join the Group. We are looking for a qualified Dyslexia Tutor who can undertake a range of responsibilities including screening students for dyslexic tendencies, organising exam concessions, chairing reviews for students with Educational and Health Care Plans, liaising with staff across college to implement good practice for dyslexic students in class, teaching small groups and 1-1.
Hours per week: 7
Salary per year: £6,831 up to £7,484

About You
We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual with a broad knowledge of a range of conditions and their impact on a person's ability to engage with learning and an ability to adapt Dyslexia teaching systems to meet the needs of the individual student.
You will have at least two years successful experience of teaching students with specific learning difficulties and ideally experience of leading and managing a team.
If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you.
