We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Hollywynd Rest Home. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents with a range of physical and mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and to work in a caring and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
* Assisting residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* Supporting residents with their daily activities, including social and recreational activities.
* Monitoring and recording residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.
* Following care plans and risk assessments, ensuring that residents receive appropriate care and support.
* Working collaboratively with other care staff and healthcare professionals to ensure that residents' needs are met.
Requirements:
* A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
* Experience in providing care and support to people with physical and/or mental health needs (preferred but not essential).
* A willingness to undertake training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
* A commitment to working in a team and contributing to a positive and supportive working environment.
* Flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
