LGV C+E Drivers (HGV Class :00-04:00 starts - based Stoke on Trent
Pay Rate: £42,891 + Unsocial Hours Shift Premium
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - MUST be able to cover start times between 02:00-04:00
Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4 4EX - DHL Dunelm Contract
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Work pattern Monday to Friday - start times between 02:00-04:00
* Mixture of retail store deliveries, trunking, salvage collection and shunting as required - double decker, curtainsided trailers
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
* Have a minimum of 2 years commercial 'on the road' LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience
* Have previous store delivery experience using double deck trailers
* Live locally to Stoke on Trent ST4 4EX
