We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the operational management and strategic planning of
26 buildings across our Liverpool estate. This is a pivotal role within our organisation, ensuring that all facilities are safe,pliant, efficient, and fit for purpose.
Your new role
1. Lead the day-to-day management of all facilities across the estate, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and health & safety.
2. Develop and implement facilities strategies aligned with organisational goals.
3. Manage contracts and service level agreements with external suppliers and contractors.
4. Ensurepliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
5. Monitor budgets and control costs while maintaining high service standards.
6. Lead on sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.
7. Line manage a team of facilities staff and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within the public sector or a large, multi-site organisation.
9. Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, buildingpliance, and contract management.
10. Excellent leadership,munication, and organisational skills.
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
12. Relevant qualifications (, IWFM Level 4+, NEBOSH, IOSH) are desirable.
