We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead in selling bedrooms and event space at The Swan at Streatley. This key strategic role involves growing revenue through reactive sales, building lasting client relationships, and executing a sales plan across the corporate and MICE sectors. It offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong hotel sales background who is passionate about hospitality, results-driven, and enjoys working with diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage inquiry processes for groups, meetings, and events from proposal to contracting and billing.
2. Meet or exceed KPIs such as conversion rates, response times, client tours, and sales objectives.
3. Deliver and surpass personal revenue targets for group bookings, meetings, and events.
4. Ensure all sales tools (rate grids, proposals, digital collateral, virtual tours) are current and effectively used.
5. Support sales events like virtual presentations, wedding showcases, restaurant launches, fam trips, and tastings.
6. Participate in sales, revenue, and strategy meetings to support business development and conversion efforts.
7. Lead onsite efforts for monthly conversion days with regional teams to boost revenue.
8. Manage the sales inbox and phone channels during business hours.
9. Follow company standards, processes, and SOPs in line with hotel guidelines.
10. Update online lead platforms with promotions, imagery, and accurate property info.
11. Implement onsite sales strategies to maximize bedroom and event space bookings.
12. Analyze performance data and sales reports to inform strategic decisions and meet revenue targets.
13. Support the Director of Sales with projects and initiatives throughout the year.
14. Distribute weekly and monthly performance updates on sales targets and objectives.
15. Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and expense tracking.
16. Conduct competitor analysis to maintain market competitiveness.
17. Collaborate with General Managers and marketing teams to align sales goals and strategies.
