Conveyancing Solicitor
* Location: Hastings, East Sussex
* Job Type: Full-time
* Annual Salary: £55'000 (DOE)
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a qualified Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join a well-established law firm. This role involves launching and developing a new office in Hastings, providing a fantastic chance for leadership and growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle a full range of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build properties.
* Operate as a stand-alone fee earner initially, with the potential to manage support staff as the office expands.
* Manage a caseload of approximately 25–30 new files per month, with support.
* Engage in networking and marketing activities to effectively promote the new office and attract a growing client base.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
* Strong technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent client care and communication skills, capable of delivering high-quality legal services.
* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
* Proactive in business development, with a willingness to contribute significantly to the growth and success of the new office.
