Accounts Payable Clerk - £15 per hour - Reading - 4/5 month contract - Office based
Our clients needs a Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary basis due to a busy period. This is a fantastic role working in a fun, fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Monitor system triggers to safeguard the timely issue of all payments due
2. Monitor internal systems to ensure they are running as expected
3. Daily reconciliation of payments received versus payment issued
4. Review account set-up to ensure new customers' experience is in line with expectation
5. Monitor daily and hourly reporting to make sure statements are issued correctly
6. Run and monitor various internal controls to ensure operational processes are completed correctly with no impact on the company, clients, or funding
7. Providing timely feedback and/or escalating any settlement issues
8. Monitoring and maintaining customer data
9. Monitor any financial exposures the company faces
The Successful Candidate:
10. A grasp of financial accounting to accurately interpret how data influences financial
11. outcomes
12. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
13. Good time management skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines
