Quantity Surveyor\n\nLift Industry\n\nLift Installation\n\nConstruction\n\nWembley\n\nLondon (Office-based 3-5 days per week) \n\nSector: Lift Engineering | Construction | Technical Projects Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance\n\nREClifts is working in partnership with a specialist lift engineering contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent, standalone role. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced QS with a background in lifts, construction, or technical project environments.\n\nThe Role: Quantity Surveyor\n\nAs a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be instrumental in managing the commercial aspects of multiple lift installation and refurbishment projects. From budgeting and cash flow forecasting to cost control and contract administration, your expertise will help ensure financial success across the project portfolio.\n\nYou'll be based in the London office at least 3 days per week, with full-time in-office attendance required during your first 3-6 months as part of a thorough onboarding and training process.\n\nKey Responsibilities: Quantity Surveyor\n\nPrepare and submit valuations and applications for payment\n\nDrive certification processes and cash collection, including retentions\n\nCollaborate closely with Project and Site Managers throughout each project\n\nProduce accurate cash flow forecasts based on project progress\n\nRegularly update and submit draft final accounts\n\nMaintain up-to-date cost-to-complete records and prevent margin erosion\n\nEnsure accurate digital and on-site contract documentation\n\nContribute to developing commercial best practices across the business\n\nWhat We're Looking For: Quantity Surveyor\n\nProven experience in a standalone Quantity Surveyor role\n\nBackground in lift engineering, construction, or technical contracting\n\nStrong knowledge of valuations, cost control, and final accounts\n\nConfident managing multiple projects independently\n\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\n\nProficiency in Excel and project costing software\n\nFamiliarity with JCT, NEC, or other standard contract forms is desirable\n\nWhat's on Offer: Quantity Surveyor\n\nSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)\n\nCar Allowance: £5,000\n\nSupportive onboarding during your first 6 months\n\nLong-term career opportunity with a global, specialist lift engineering firm\n\nScope for career development in a respected, niche industry\n\nReady to Apply?\n\nCall us Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm for a confidential chat Send your CV to: Visit: (url removed) Search "REClifts" on Google to see why engineers and employers trust us\n\nAt REClifts, we're proud to represent professionals in the lift and access industry.
