Senior Quantity Surveyor New Build Care Homes
£380 £450 per day | Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor specialising in new build care home developments, with projects typically valued at £810 million.
This is an urgent requirement, with a project that has just broken ground, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to oversee the scheme from early construction through to final account. For the right individual, this represents a strong long-term opportunity with a contractor that has a healthy pipeline of future work.
The Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for a new build care home project, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, and wider commercial team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Role Responsibilities
1. Full commercial management of a £810m new build care home project from commencement through to final account
2. Preparation, management, and reporting of project cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
3. Procurement of subcontract packages, including preparation of tender documentation, tender analysis, and subcontract appointment
