We are hiring!


Here at Sunninghill, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team in Ascot. This is a part-time permanent role working 30 hours per week over 4 days. There will be a minimum of one late shift per week (12:00pm-7:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm) and early shifts (8:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm). Hours can be discussed.

As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You'll be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.


Your duties will include:

1. To ensure the smooth running of our front of house
2. Greeting clients on arrival
3. Delivering exceptional service
4. Taking payments
5. Booking future appointments
6. Dealing with day-to-day queries
7. Ensuring daily duties are performed by each staff member
8. Administration duties such as answering client emails, sending out emails, and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan


Our ideal candidate

1. A proven background in reception duties (experience in the veterinary sector is desirable but not a must as full training will be given on the job)
2. Outgoing
3. Confident communication/interpersonal skills
4. Providing a smooth and professional service at all times
5. Passionate about customer service
6. Experience with cashing up
7. Ordering
8. A high standard of personal presentation
9. Happy using computers daily and confident with systems such as Outlook
