As our Website Manager, you’ll own and manage the Helping Hands website as a core digital product. You’ll play a vital role in how people experience our services online—ensuring the site is fast, reliable, accessible and designed to convert. Working closely with Developers, SEO, PPC, Content and wider marketing teams, you’ll lead the website roadmap and day‑to‑day delivery, turning insight into continuous improvement. Salary : Up to £45,000 per annum What you’ll do Own and deliver a rolling 12‑month website roadmap covering performance, content, templates and technical enhancements. Ensure the website is fast, stable and reliable, meeting Core Web Vitals, uptime and page‑speed targets. Lead issue triage, backlog management and release planning in close collaboration with Developers. Monitor analytics, user behaviour and conversion performance, using insight to drive optimisation. Act as the main point of contact for all website activity across Digital, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams. Support SEO and PPC activity with high‑performing landing pages and strong technical hygiene. What you’ll bring Hands‑on experience managing WordPress websites at scale. Strong understanding of UX, CRO and information architecture. Experience running content operations from briefing through to publishing. Confidence managing backlogs, releases and acceptance criteria (Jira or similar). Solid knowledge of SEO best practice, including redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and internal linking. Experience using analytics tools (GA4, Plausible or similar) to inform decisions. Excellent communication skills, able to work confidently with technical and non‑technical teams. A proactive, organised mindset with strong attention to detail. Desirable Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA). Experience of large website migrations or re‑platforming projects. Familiarity with HubSpot, A/B testing tools or Git workflows. Experience working with cloud or hosting environments such as AWS.
