About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a SIA licensed Security Officer for a large shopping centre required to cover holiday and sickness cover. The role to include but not limited to Site Patrolling, securing properties, supporting in emergency incidents, and to ensure the safety and security of all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service
* Investigate and report all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage and other incidents
* Managing crowd safety and queue management
* Be aware of and react to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans
* Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity
Ideal Candidate
* Must have Right to Work in the UK
* SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
* Experience of working within the security industry/environment is an advantage.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Experience in a public facing, customer service role with the ability to deal with challenging situations
* The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
