Introduction: An opportunity has arisen to join the Service Department as an office-based Spare Parts Administrator (Technical).
Job Description
* Parts identification and associated general administration
* Sourcing parts and spares, placing orders for them and then tracking delivery
* Taking incoming calls from customers and field engineers, supporting with their queries and requests
* General administration including customer documents, special requests, quotes, orders and credit notes
* Arranging returns to suppliers
* Use of spare parts software, including Parts Information Database
* Communications with other Mazak Production plants
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* Professional telephone manner
* Excellent knowledge of all Mazak products
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical manuals
* Team focused and able to meet the targets of the department
* Ability to manage a project through to completion
* Highly motivated and proactive
* Computer literate
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* The ability to learn quickly and apply into practice
Desirable Criteria
* An engineering background
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A knowledge of Windows-based applications
* Flexible working approach to meet demand (to include overtime if required)

* Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.30pm
* Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
