We are in a good position with our consultant complement and hope to continue to build a strong and supportive cohort of Older Adult consultant Psychiatrist. We are supported by specialty doctors and resident doctors. Our current vacancy is within our Inpatient Unit for Older Adults. This service provides specialist assessment for those acutely unwell and at risk of harm within Forth Valley in a timely manner. From day one we help all new Consultant Psychiatrists in Forth Valley embark on a journey to develop into the best doctor they can be. We would hope and expect that those we employ are keen to gain extra SPA time (in addition to accreditation work) for teaching, training, patient safety and service improvement work.
