Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, adhering to any specific dietary requirements outlined in care plans.
* Help clients with mobility and transportation, including driving them to appointments or social activities as needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Document client progress and any changes in condition as per care plans.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and their families.
* Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and communicating with the team.
* A valid driving licence is essential
* Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the individual needs of each client.
* A caring attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality support to enhance the lives of those in your care.
