Location: Manchester, GB. Reporting to the Overseas Service Manager. This is an overseas field service and commissioning role with extensive travel, including potential short-notice assignments. The position is home-based (ideally within one hour’s travel from a UK Major Airport) with global travel expected.
Responsibilities
* Fault find, repair and commission High Voltage Variable Speed Drive and Motor Systems ranging from 250kW to 150MW
* Perform preventative maintenance on existing Drive & Motor Systems
* Strict adherence to relevant processes, site rules and health and safety
* Compile detailed, comprehensive reports with identified actions
* Provide on-site operation and maintenance training to the customer’s engineers
* Act as site manager on larger projects
Your profile
* Full driving licence (extensive foreign and UK travel will be required)
* Degree (or HND) in electrical/electronic engineering
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Knowledge and interest in large motors and drives engineering
* Right to work in the UK
