About the job you’re considering
You will take a leading role on our complex Oracle Cloud implementations, working with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS components from across the Oracle portfolio, in addition to open source technologies, cloud approaches (APIs, microservices, modern applications), and products from other cloud vendors where suitable. You will give direction and derive robust architecture designs to meet customer business needs. The role may also support pre-sales activities and go-to-market strategies across our UK business.
Hybrid working: Your work location will vary between Company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on your role and needs. Note that you will not be able to work 100% from home.

Your role
* Operate as a lead architect on Oracle PaaS solutions, focusing on large-scale Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS implementations and API/microservice/frontend architecture.
* Provide pre-sales support by articulating the benefits of Oracle PaaS and IaaS.
* Advocate for API management and drive a cloud-based approach in technology solutions.
* Collaborate with Oracle UK and wider teams to develop PaaS business opportunities.
* Communicate implementation approaches and design methodologies to offshore teams.

Skills and experience
We recognize the diverse skillsets within the Oracle PaaS landscape. Experience in traditional or cloud-based Oracle implementations, API/microservices/UI architecture is valuable. Key requirements include:
* Proven experience leading large-scale Oracle PaaS solutions across the full Oracle PaaS portfolio.
* Knowledge of Oracle SaaS solutions (ERP or HCM cloud) is advantageous.
* Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite and/or SOA.
* Understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Ability to develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Security clearance
SC clearance is required, which involves residing in the UK for the past 5 years, among other criteria. Some roles are restricted to UK nationals due to security reasons.
