Software Architect
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Software Architect based in the Newcastle area. This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid.
The Role
This role is for a Software Architect—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results‑oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
* Translate business goals and high‑level requirements into robust software architectures.
* Design scalable, flexible, and maintainable architectures for complex geospatial systems using the latest modern cloud‑based technologies and tools.
* Identify technical risks early and define pragmatic mitigation strategies.
The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
* Designing and owning software architectures for complex systems, preferably in a cloud environment, with an awareness of DevSecOps.
* Exposure to working in environments with security, reliability, and compliance constraints, preferably in the geospatial domain.
