Role: AI Specialist (AI Foundry)
Contract: 3 Months Rolling
Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid)
Rate: £500 per day
We are currently looking for an experienced AI Specialist to support one of our clients in Leeds. This role requires a senior professional with strong experience in enterprise AI initiatives, particularly within the Microsoft AI ecosystem. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping AI strategy, developing advanced AI solutions, and ensuring responsible and scalable AI adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on AI technologies including large language models (LLMs) and agent-based AI solutions.
Contribute to AI strategy, roadmap planning, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
Translate complex AI concepts into clear insights for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Support business cases, investment decisions, and risk assessments related to AI initiatives.
Lead proof-of-concept development for multi-agent and semi-autonomous AI workflows.
Define enterprise AI patterns covering orchestration, prompt governance, vector search, memory, and agent frameworks.
Advise on model selection, prompting strategies, and data approaches to ensure high-performing and safe AI implementations.
Conduct deep technical reviews of AI systems to identify risks and recommend design improvements.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams on AI-related decisions and strategy.
Mentor internal teams and contribute to building AI capability across the organization.
Essential Skills & Experience Degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Risk Management, Ethics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience delivering AI or data-driven initiatives within complex or regulated environments.
Hands-on experience building and integrating AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Strong experience working with Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience working with AI development environments such as Azure AI Foundry.
Practical experience integrating AI agents, APIs, and supporting components within enterprise platforms.
