Overview
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting the Brand in driving sales turnover and market share by staying consumer focused. They aim to deliver excellent service and maintain high retail standards while executing local marketing and events initiatives in alignment with the Brand strategy.
Responsibilities
* Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
* Maximise sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards
* Adhere to store/Brand/Company procedures and guidelines to contribute to efficiencies
* Understand daily/weekly targets
* Be aware of all additional sales avenues (events, Omni, digital channels, etc.)
* Keep up to date with competitor activities and opportunities
* Utilise social media opportunities to drive the business and enhance the Brand image
* Deliver the Brand Strategy and local plan
* Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives aligned to Retailer activity
* Deliver excellence in service, aiming for zero consumer complaints and a positive customer experience
* Be an Ambassador for the Brand and uphold Brand values
* Manage refunds and complaints per Company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager as appropriate
* Use digital tools to ensure knowledge is up to date
* Deliver a consumer recruitment and retention strategy
* Develop up-to-date product knowledge to provide an industry-leading experience
* Maintain excellent standards of product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
* Review retail standards daily and maintain them to the required standard
* Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration are completed within Company timeframes
* Ensure auditable processes and administration are completed per Company guidelines and address risks
* Fulfil information requests accurately within deadlines
* Minimise stock loss by following Company Security Policies and Procedures
* Create and maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Company and Retailer Policies
* Achieve a minimum overall audit grade of 'Acceptable' for health & safety responsibilities and operational activity
Commerciality
* Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate action
* Maximise sales by using commercial reports to inform decisions
* Plan and deliver visual merchandising to guidelines and timelines
* Identify stock package issues and take corrective action, informing the Area Manager when out of direct control
* Manage promotions and discounts according to Company guidelines
* Identify trends and suggest improvements to product performance
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment
* Ability to drive self-development
* Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry
* Effective communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
