Job role: Business Apprentice
Salary: National Minimum Wage for Apprentices - £14,565.31 p.a
(may increase in year 2 dependant on age)
Contract Status: Fixed Term – 2 years
Contract Start Date: October 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm
Friday: 8.00am – 4.00pm
(1 hour unpaid lunch break each day)
Closing date: Friday 19th September 2025
Interviews: 23rd & 24th September 2025

Role and responsibilities
The school is looking to recruit a Business Apprentice to join our well-established Business Team. This new apprentice position will provide the successful candidate with the support they need while obtaining their qualification, as well as work-based learning and experience. In this role you will act as the first line for queries on the finance queries and provide support to the HR and Finance Team.
Qualifications and attributes
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, positive and have a good standard of English (written and spoken) and Maths as well as excellent IT and interpersonal skills. You should have the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative in a busy environment.
The role will initially be fixed term for two years and, if successful, you will achieve Level 3 Business Administrator.
