Audit Senior - ColchesterTop 15 UK Accountancy Firm | Competitive Salary | Hybrid WorkingWe are recruiting on behalf of a Top 15 UK Accountancy Firm for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional looking for career progression, high-quality client exposure, and a firm that genuinely supports work-life balance.The RoleAs an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with clients across a wide variety of sectors, supervise junior staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality audits.Key Responsibilities
* Lead audit fieldwork for a range of clients
* Identify and address key audit risks
* Review work completed by junior team members
* Support audit planning and completion processes
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
* Contribute to improved processes and best practices within the team

* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong experience in external audit
* Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
* Confident communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
* Experience with Excel and Word; CaseWare experience desirable
* Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
