About the role - Our client, an innovative, fast growing retail and manufacturing business based near Alderley Edge, are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team due to the continued success of the business. Working under an experienced transactional finance leader, this role offers an exciting opportunity to continue developing within a thriving business. Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle accounts payable related matters in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities in the Accounts Payable Clerk position will include: Performing multi-currency bank reconciliations Inputting data of supplier purchase invoices from overheads to Stock invoices where you can match to GRNs/Purchase Orders Processing payment runs Dealing with accounts payable related queries Assisting with the reconciliation of the debtors ledger Supplier statement reconciliations Reviewing credit card statements and employees expense requests Any other ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance team Key Requirements - Proven experience in a similar accounts payable clerk role Familiarity with ERP systems Comfortable working in a high volume environment Strong attention to detail A working knowledge of MS Office - particularly Excel, Word and Outlook This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading business that invest in their people.
