Job Description
The Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Alderley Edge. Reporting into the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
3. Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to relevant accounts.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
5. Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
7. Assist in month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.
8. Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive relationships.
9. Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support projects as needed.
10. Provide administrative support for the accounts payable function when required.
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
11. Have previous experience in Accounts Payable
12. Be able to consider a temporary role initially
13. Be able to commute full time to the Alderley Edge office
