We have a great opportunity within our IPU team for a Clinical SupportNurse. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Health CareAssistants and Clinical Support Nurses who are looking to develop skills andknowledge within specialist palliative care.
Salary £24,169per annum WTE
(plus unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)
23 hours - 37.5 hours per week - FlexibleDependent upon Applicants
The role covers a 24 hour, 7 day service and will thereforeinclude weekends and rotation to night duty.
Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the widermulti-disciplinary team, you will support and assist the qualified nursingstaff in providing hands-on, person-centered heath care to patients with complexclinical needs. This includes working ina similar capacity as a Health Care Assistant. As well as clerical andadministrative duties, other duties include cleaning and ancillary responsibilities. Our health care staff strive to provide thehighest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers,through a collaborative team approach.
We are looking for someone compassionate and caring, withexcellent communication and team-working skills. Experience of working in a care setting isdesirable. * Good level of English and Maths.
* NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent
