Key Responsibilities Support & Personal Care Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to residents. Assist with personal care needs including washing, dressing, and mobility. Encourage residents to participate in festive activities and routines. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard residents at all times. Daily Living & Activities Support residents with daily living tasks such as eating, drinking, and maintaining personal hygiene. Encourage participation in Christmas events, crafts, and social activities within the home. Promote dignity, equality, and inclusion in all interactions. Sleep-in & Shift Duties Carry out sleep-in shifts (22:00 – 08:30) when required to ensure continuous care and safety overnight. Remain available to respond to any incidents or emergencies during the night. Environment & Safety Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in line with infection control and health & safety standards. Report any concerns or hazards immediately to the Home Manager. Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a consistent, supportive environment. Keep accurate daily notes and communicate clearly with colleagues at shift handovers. Uphold the values and standards of the Care Home at all times. Requirements Person Specification Essential: A caring, patient, and positive attitude. Reliable and flexible – able to work during the festive period. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to attend brief training or induction prior to starting. Desirable: Previous experience working in a care, support, or healthcare setting. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Knowledge of autism and learning disabilities. · DBS Check is advantageous, but can be provided Benefits INDBLUE
