Aspiring Psychologist - Graduate position in Woking, Surrey. Small, specialist school with students who have SEND and challenging behaviours. Focus on educational, social and therapeutic needs, happiness and well-being.
This trainee role provides hands-on experience with vulnerable children, building robust relationships to improve engagement, attainment and life chances.
Responsibilities
* Work with teachers and specialist staff to support students with SEND and traumas.
* Contribute to providing consistency and tools to help students feel safe and empowered.
* Assist with implementing individualised strategies to improve outcomes.
Person Specification / Qualifications
* Psychology graduates with a passion for helping children and young people
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Approachable and able to build robust relationships with students
* Calm, resilient under stress or conflict
* Empathy, caring, good listener
* Motivated, professional; willing to commute to Woking
* Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship
Details
Sept start; on-site training, support and CPD provided to safeguard students. Pay £90-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30-15:30, PAYE, term time only. No previous experience required.
