Our client specializes in manufacturing different gearing systems. They are currently looking for an experienced Quality Calibration Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of calibrated equipment across the business, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and maintaining robust quality and calibration systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting audits, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain all calibrated equipment across the business, including coordinating internal and external calibration activities.
2. Support and maintain the Quality Management System in line with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
3. Assist in planning and conducting internal audits, ensuring non-conformances are effectively addressed and closed out.
4. Support customer audit activities and respond to customer quality requirements and enquiries.
5. Process and investigate supplier and customer non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
6. Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis activities, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
