T he Venue Supervisr (Mooch) Role: We’re looking for a highly organised, commercially minded and proactive Venues Supervisor to support the running of our student bar, Mooch. Hosting weekly student favourite activities such as the quiz and karaoke, we offer great value drinks and food to all of our customers in a stylish venue with large outside terrace. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Venues Manager to ensure the operation runs smoothly, including supporting our student staff team to excel in the service of our customers, having direct input to our menus and activity programme and contributing to staff training and development. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to develop their hospitality skillset in a fun and diverse environment. You will support with the management of stock and ensure compliance with licensing and health and safety standards including food hygiene and allergens. Training is provided and will include food hygiene, licencing and health and safety, with nationally recognised courses where applicable. The successful candidate will have a good level of experience working within the hospitality industry, leading a team, using their initiative and excellent communication skills. The hours worked are during University term time, however there will be a minimal amount of hours to be worked out of term time by agreement.
