Bodmin CATU is an exciting place to work; a nurse led unit at Bodmin Community Hospital created to accept patients from home or ED. Nurses and Healthcare Assistants are using their assessment skills and developing practical skills.
We are looking for a dynamic person who wish to join our team and expand their skill set within support roles with the opportunity to support dynamic patient flow within a multidisciplinary team which includes doctors, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

To provide housekeeping services to the ward manager in the ward environment. The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He/she will be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities/services in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet patient needs, as determined by the ward manager/charge nurse. The post holder will be required to work closely with the senior general services assistant, contractors and support services departments. He/she will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies.
