Strategic Support Executive (Business Projects, Strategy & Executive Support to the Managing Director) About the Role This is a high-impact, hybrid role combining strategic project support, cross-functional collaboration, and executive assistance to the Managing Director. You will operate at the centre of the business — helping translate strategy into action, driving key initiatives forward, and ensuring the Managing Director is optimally supported in both operational and strategic priorities. What You’ll Do Strategic & Business Projects Support the development, tracking, and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives. Conduct research, analysis, and prepare briefing papers to inform decision-making. Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple business functions. Create high-quality board packs, presentations, reports, and business cases. Assist in annual planning, quarterly reviews, and strategic roadmapping. Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation. Cross-Department Collaboration Act as a central coordination point across departments to ensure alignment on key priorities. Facilitate cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear outcomes and follow-through. Track actions and ensure accountability across leadership teams. Support internal communications on strategic initiatives and company updates. Executive Support to the Managing Director Provide proactive diary management, prioritisation, and meeting preparation. Prepare agendas, briefings, talking points, and follow-up actions. Manage sensitive communications and confidential information with discretion. Anticipate needs and remove obstacles to maximise the Managing Director’s effectiveness. Support stakeholder engagement, including clients, partners, and board members. What You’ll Bring Strategic & Analytical Capability Strong business acumen with the ability to understand commercial drivers. Experience supporting strategic initiatives or business transformation projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights and recommendations. Organisation & Execution Excellence Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong project coordination and follow-through capabilities. High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Communication & Influence Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional presence with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills. Confidence facilitating meetings and driving accountability. Executive Support Experience Prior experience supporting senior leadership (ideally C-suite level). Strong discretion and judgement when handling confidential matters. Ability to anticipate needs and think two steps ahead. Personal Attributes Proactive and self-motivated. Commercially aware and strategically curious. Calm under pressure and solution-oriented.
