About the role:
1. Engage with people in prison on the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) programme to promote wellbeing activities.
2. Provide a regular Wellbeing Café where people can explore their wellbeing and take part in entry level creative and therapeutic activities
3. Support the delivery of structured wellbeing interventions such as yoga classes, art and music sessions.
4. Coproduce wellbeing plans and set and review goals with participants
5. Provide records of all one to one and group attendances
6. Arrange prisoner movement and appropriate room bookings
7. Promote the service across the prison with partners and potential participants
About you:
8. Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
9. Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour.
10. Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
11. Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
12. Experience of working within a prison/criminal justice setting
13. An interest in therapeutic and creative activities to promote wellbeing
