PE Global Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Senior Director of Nursing – Critical Care to work with one of the world’s leading healthcare providers based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties of the role
Performs all duties of the Senior Director of Nursing plus the following:
* Participates with the Chief Nursing Officer and other department Directors/Senior Directors in reviewing the organization's mission, strategic plans, and policies.
* Collaborates in developing the Nursing and Clinical Services Business & Operating plans.
* Prepares and monitors personnel, supply, and equipment budgets in collaboration with staff and support departments.
* Monitors operational performance metrics including LOS, overtime costs, vacancy, and turnover rates.
* Develops standards for recruiting nursing and clinical services personnel.
* Ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards such as CBAHI, JCI, IHI.
* Uses QI data to improve patient care outcomes and implements corrective actions.
* Plans and coordinates the department’s response to catastrophic disasters.
* Utilizes patient satisfaction surveys to establish customer service goals.
* Serves on various committees, study groups, and projects.
* Guides Nursing Shift Coordinators and Unit Managers in planning and supervising hospital activities.
* Performs additional duties as requested by the CNO.
* Identifies potential successors to the Director’s role.
* Promotes professionalism within the division/department.
* Leads initiatives and research programs within area of expertise.
* Contributes to a culture of quality and safety.
* Manages managers and/or clinical staff.
* Collaborates across departments and manages risks to improve financial and operational performance.
* Forecasts resource needs and manages budgets.
* Focuses on operational activities with annual planning cycles.
* Develops and manages budgets for related cost centers.
* Implements revenue enhancement and cost-reduction measures.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; advanced certification required.
* Doctorate preferred but not essential.
* Minimum 11 years of clinical experience post-registration, with at least 5 years in upper management in a large hospital.
* Expertise in clinical knowledge of the specialty.
* Current professional license.
* Proficiency in English.
* Strong decision-making, leadership, integrity, and judgment skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Capability to develop and adapt systems as needed.
