Job Description

3. Lead AWS partnership in the Betting & Gaming vertical across the UK and EMEA
4. Drive new business development in Betting & Gaming
5. Execute regional and vertical GTM strategies
6. Champion the development of industry solutions with a Betting & Gaming focus
7. Support account collaboration with AWS field and partner teams
8. Own and grow strategic AWS partner and customer relationships in the UK, Ireland, and EMEA Betting & Gaming sector
9. Build regular engagement with AWS Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Solution Architects, and industry specialists to align priorities and drive joint customer success
10. Represent the company at AWS briefings, industry events, and sponsorships to strengthen market positioning
11. Independently drive new logo acquisition and identify new revenue streams through AWS partnerships
12. Develop and execute localised GTM strategies and campaigns tailored to Betting & Gaming sub-segments (e.g., online, land-based, game development, affiliate marketing, payments)
13. Lead targeted GTM initiatives including campaigns, events, webinars, and thought leadership content
14. Champion co-marketing and co-selling with AWS, building industry solutions (IP) that address priority use cases and pain points
15. Collaborate with internal Engagement Managers and AWS teams to co-sell AWS-related services into strategic client accounts
16. Leverage AWS funding programs, technical resources, and co-selling motions to unlock new opportunities
17. Coach internal teams on activating AWS influence within client accounts and track pipeline development

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

18. 15+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in business development, partner management, or sales leadership in IT services
19. Strong background in the Betting & Gaming industry, with understanding of its ecosystem, players, and technologies (e.g., online, land-based, sportsbooks, exchanges, affiliate marketers, operators)
20. Experience working with international or globally distributed sales and delivery teams, including Central & Eastern Europe
21. Solid working knowledge of technology delivery and professional services
22. Proven channel experience with hyperscalers or major technology providers, with a focus on co-marketing and co-selling

Nice to have:

23. Direct experience working with the AWS ecosystem and using AWS as a sales/GTM channel
24. AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and/or AWS Sales accreditation
