Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: up to GBP 19.02 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, 37.5 hours per week
The Role
The company currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fabricator/TIG Welder to join their team. Working in a busy shop floor environment in their Macclesfield workshop using a range of equipment and welding processes to manufacture high quality fabrications for the food, Pharmaceutical, water and textile industries.
Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate must be time served with a minimum of 5 years experience and can produce a high standard of work using Stainless steel, Aluminium and Carbon Steel.
* Fabricate bespoke items from engineering drawings to exact tolerances from laser cut profiles and/or using guillotines, band saws, drills, press brake, hydro form and rollers.
* The ability to weld thin gauge stainless steel, aluminium and carbon steel using the TIG welding process to a high standard of cosmetic finish, Pipe welding experience advantageous.
* Be flexible for assisting in other areas depending on manufacturing requirements.
* Adhere to and promote a good attitude to Health and Safety and operational procedures.
* Display a professional, acceptable attitude and image for all work associated with and undertaken on behalf of the company.
* Willingness to work overtime when required.
