Overtime pay at x1.5 for Monday to Saturday and x2 for Sunday shift 35 days holidays per annum Annual Pay Review Quarterly Bonus Scheme subject to business performance Private Healthcare Scheme - Key Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, specifically the Doosan Puma 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc control. Undertake programming and re-profiling of tool steel rolls used in tube manufacturing. Assist with other general machining activities within the department. - What you will need To be considered for the role of Machinist, you should have: Completed a relevant recognized apprenticeship or have demonstrable competence through experience. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications, or demonstrate competence through experience. Experience in setting and operating CNC lathes is essential. Proficiency in CNC programming, including program understanding and editing. Fanuc experience is preferable, but training can be provided. Knowledge of manual operation of lathes, milling machines, and general workshop machinery is advantageous. Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards accurately. Competence in using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers. Capability to perform manual tasks weighing up to 25kg. A valid driving license is required.
