The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Ipsum’s fleet and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role plays a critical part in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
* Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of all servicing, repairs, and parts inventory.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to schedule maintenance and repairs efficiently.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
* Provide technical support and recommendations for vehicle and equipment improvements.
* Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are desirable.
