As Senior Fulfilment & Operations Manager, you will provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance, leading improvements in logistics, warehousing, and inventory control. You will focus on developing their systems, negotiating key contracts, and providing expert forecasts to drive business success.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction of all fulfilment, warehouse, logistics, stock accuracy, and delivery operations within the Product and Fulfilment department.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fulfilment, warehouse, logistics, and delivery strategy across all categories.
Develop operational frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and standards for scalability and efficiency.
Provide strategic leadership and delegate full operational ownership of daily execution to the Fulfilment & Logistics Manager.
Act as the escalation point and mentor the Fulfilment & Logistics Manager to grow leadership capability.
Own operational cost centre performance and efficiency targets.
Lead courier negotiations, shipping network improvement, and logistical contracts.
Implement technology solutions to improve warehouse, stock accuracy, and fulfilment operations.
Drive continuous improvement using operational performance data.
Oversee stock accuracy frameworks, shrinkage reduction, and data integrity.
Ensure quality standards across fulfilment and warehouse teams.
Co-chair the weekly Product Flow Meeting to align product intake, fulfilment readiness, and operational priorities.
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and Client Relations to support exceptional delivery experiences.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum five years of progressive experience in product management and/or fulfilment operations.
At least five years of leadership experience managing teams.
Proven P&L responsibility and financial management track record.
A Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is desired
The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, onsite based in their head offices in Marlborough.
