Your Role as a KS3 SEN Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs.
Create a supportive and structured learning environment, using a range of SEN strategies to support student development.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to implement personalised education plans (EHCPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture, promoting students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
Use adaptive teaching methods to encourage independence and confidence in learning.
Engage with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to student progress.
Contribute to the wider school community, supporting school initiatives and extra-curricular activities.
Who We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching KS3 students.
A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and the SEND Code of Practice.
Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
