About the Company - The world's largest provider of engineered noise control products and solutions spanning over 70 years. This role will be office based in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh.
About the Role -
We require a full-time permanent Autocad Draftsperson, with AutoCAD 2D experience, from a sheet metal/steel fabrication or special purpose machinery background.
The role will be working within the Architectural Design department, covering a wide range of products and varied projects in the UK and Europe.
In-house training will be given in company procedures, document management and standard products.
Responsibilities
· Draw, update, and maintain designs
· Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
· Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
· Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
· Producing CAD models and drawings.
· Creating Bills of Materials / Parts Lists.
· Detail drawings for manufacture in UK and Europe.
· Upkeep of project documentation and drawing revisions.
· Issue for manufacturing CAD files and document packs using IAC procedures.
Qualifications
· Experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
Required Skills
· AutoCAD experience
· Proficient in Autodesk and AutoCAD
· Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Skills
· Experienced Cad Draftsperson.
· 2d Autodesk and AutoCAD.
· Sheet Metal, Steel Fabrication, Special Purpose Machinery
· Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar field or role (preferred)
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8-30am to 5-15pm and Friday 8-30am to 1-00 pm.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
After 5 years of service, holiday will increase to 30 days plus bank holidays.

Must be UK resident with right to work in in the UK.
