Astute's Renewables team is partnered with established anaerobic digestion business who design, build, own and operate assets. They're looking to recruit a Head of Projects to lead and overseeing the successful delivery of strategic projects from initiation to completion

Responsibilities and duties of the Head of Projects role
Reporting to the CEO you will:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Monitor project progress and performance, resolving issues and mitigating risks.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and tools.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
Provide leadership and direction to project managers, and ensures best practices in project governance and risk management
Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
NVQ 5, HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
Project Management Certificate.
HSE Certification in Managing Safely.
Full UK Driving license.
Personal skills
The Head of Projects role would suit someone who has:
Proven experience in project or program management, ideally in a leadership role.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP)
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
