This is an exciting opportunity to join Health New Zealand and play a crucial role in recruiting our Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Professional and Administration staff, directly contributing to achieving national health targets. As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will provide strategic and operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders. You will be responsible for delivering candidate-centric recruitment services, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members and lead portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
To work closely with clinicians to understand the vacancies you are recruiting to.
Deliver recruitment services that align with workforce strategies and professional registration requirements.
Provide advice on sourcing and candidate attraction strategies
Coach hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and assessment methods.
Ensure timely communication and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Participate in health sector employment initiatives and recruitment events
Proven ability to engage effectively in face-to-face communication across a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience using social media platforms as a strategic tool for recruitment and employer branding.

Based in Hawke’s Bay, our recruitment team supports Health New Zealand by attracting skilled Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Health professionals, and Administration staff. About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in a senior recruitment or talent role.
Five years of relevant experience in an advisory position in recruitment
Knowledge of NZ legislation and its application in a large, complex organisation.
Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
