Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions in line with wider business goals and strategies. This standalone role offers an opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
1. HR Administration: Take ownership of core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintaining employee information on the HRIS. Respond promptly and professionally to related queries.
2. Recruitment: Drive end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers. Manage graduate and apprenticeship schemes, working with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
3. Talent Strategy: Partner with leadership to shape performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives that enhance staff development and retention.
4. Learning & Development: Manage training programs, coordinating with internal experts and external providers to support employee growth.
5. Employee Relations: Provide support in areas such as managing absence, resolving grievances, and advising teams on HR policies and compliance.
6. Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Support initiatives that build organizational culture and promote staff morale, including CSR efforts.
7. Strategic HR Initiatives: Collaborate with senior leaders on HR projects that align with company objectives and improve operational performance.
8. Workforce Planning: Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or development solutions for long-term capability planning.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within relevant industry
* CIPD certification or working towards it
* Degree in HR Management or related field (advantageous)
* Competent in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
